Street/community outreach and group-level interventions targeting people of Africa descent
CMCH works in partnership with Africa Against AIDS, African Americans Reach and Teach Health Ministry, Covenant Missions International and Nu Life International to conduct street/ community outreach in Seattle-King County to reduce the incidence of HIV among people of African descent. In addition, CMCH is working in partnership with Public Health— Seattle & King County’s Family Planning Program to implement the VOICES group-level intervention in public health clinics and communitybased sites to increase HIV counseling and testing rates among people of African descent.
